Up for consideration, I have a powerhead removed from a 1996 115 HP Mercury. I got this from a dealer. It has good compression on all cylinders, all within 10%. I believe they were all between 130 and 140 PSI. The stator is missing from the motor. As seen the cover for the thermostat/poppet valve isnt included either. It is a good powerhead though with good compression and you can make one good one with a few parts from your old powerhead. This should fit motors from the mid 90s through 2005 or so.
