Up for consideration, I have a powerhead removed from a 1997 115 HP Mercury. The motor had bad engine mounts and a bad power trim so I decided to part it out. It has good compression on all cylinders, all within 10%. I believe they were all between 130 and 140 PSI. The motor does run but needs the carbs cleaned. It idled rough and would stall at idle. It did sound better at higher rpms. This is a complete powerhead as pictured. It needs the carbs cleaned but should be fine otherwise. This should fit motors from the mid 90s through 2005 or so.
