powerhead will receive the following services, disassembly and cleaning, measure bearing clearances, measure and check each cylinder, bore and hone all or any cylinders in preparation for new piston rings. clean and measure crankshaft, polish all crank journals. Jet wash block, measure, check and clean each piston, replace if necessary. check and service block deck surface if necessary. full cylinder and resurface cylinder head. assemble. repaint with mercury phantom black.
this service is for 2005-up 70hp 90hp and 115hp 3cyl optimax dfi.

customer will be responsible for shipping to and from in the lower 48 states with pick up from a commercial address with forklift.

When we bore a block we start by assessing the condition to determine what size the cylinder will need to be bored
Then we will bore the block. After that is complete for two stroke blocks the ports will be chamfered to remove any sharp corners. Then we will hone the block to the desired size and surface finish. Final step is a ride in our hot jet wash tank to remove honing oil and metal debris from boring. Above you will see finished cylinders that have been bored and honed.
We work closely with suppliers of over sized pistons like WSM Preformance and Pro Marine. we can check for availability of any piston in a particular size before we bore the block. We can also sell you the oversized pistons, used or re manufactured connecting rods, bearings, and gaskets if you need.
