Table-top Mol d'Art chocolate melters were designed for melting and tempering smaller volumes of chocolate in craft and professional environments. Indirect heating allows for safe and slow melting at low temperatures, without water. The heating element is mounted on the bottom as well as on the sides for gentle and even heating of the removable stainless steel bowl. The temperature can easily be set in a range from 5 to 65 degrees Celsius. A built-in mechanical thermostat precisely maintains the desired temperature. The devices are known to be very stable, which makes them suitable for tempering chocolate.This Mol d' Art melter was purchased after using a larger version at the Callebaut Chocolate Academy. It saw very limited use for testing moulds and recipes. Retails for 5 new.
