    VINTAGE SMITH & WESSON (S&W) “MODEL 78G” .22-CALIPER PELLET CO2 AIR PISTOL
    (HARD TO FIND!!)
    This is a hard to find vintage
    Smith & Wesson
    (S&W)
    “Model 78G” .22-caliper pellet CO2 air pistol.  The serial number is #0090801.
    This air pistol is
    untested
    , and as with most of these
    Smith & Wesson
    “Model 78G” along with the smaller caliper
    S&W
    “Model 79G” air pistols, it will most likely need to be “resealed” for proper function and operation, and as such it is being sold completely “as is” with the assumption it is not currently functional.
    There is a new replacement seal kit included FREE!!
    The
    Smith & Wesson
    “Model 78G” air pistol
    is in good overall used condition with normal marks, wear, and some finish loss in areas from use and long term storage as pictured.  There is no rear sight elevation screw as pictured and I am not sure if the screw is just missing or if there is an additional inner part needed as well.  The windage adjustable and removable rear sight blade is also broken on one side as pictured.  This is the exact item you will receive so please use the description and all the pictures to determine what you are buying, overall condition, and if it will work for your application.
